This project involves translating product descriptions, feature explanations, and help documentation into German. The content must sound as though it was originally written for the local audience, not translated word-for-word.
You’ll be responsible for adapting technical terms correctly while ensuring the language remains clear and accessible to non-experts. Each phrase should read smoothly, maintaining the professional tone and structure of the original copy.
A good understanding of localization will be essential — certain technical concepts or idioms may need adaptation rather than direct translation. The right balance between accuracy and flow will make the difference between a good and a great translation.
You’ll work closely with the project manager to clarify technical nuances and align on brand tone. Collaboration will ensure the translated version remains consistent across all web pages and materials.
