Financial Analyst to Build 3‑Statement Model
Skills Required
Description
Numbers tell a story — and we’re looking for someone who knows how to make that story clear. This role involves building a comprehensive 3-statement financial model that links income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections into one cohesive system.
The model will serve as a decision-making tool, helping leadership evaluate performance, plan future growth, and analyze potential risks. You’ll play a central role in translating assumptions into accurate forecasts and dynamic financial outputs.
Your foundation will be Excel, where you’ll build from scratch or refine existing templates to create a model that’s flexible, auditable, and easy to maintain. Every formula, link, and cell reference should be logical and transparent.
You’ll work closely with management to identify key business drivers — revenue, margins, operating costs, and working capital needs. Those inputs will shape the assumptions that power your projections.
Scenario and sensitivity analysis will form an important part of this work. Decision-makers should be able to test different “what-if” cases and immediately understand the financial impact of each.
Core Responsibilities:
Build, refine, and maintain integrated 3-statement models.
Forecast revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Develop sensitivity and scenario-based simulations.
Validate model integrity and ensure all sheets reconcile accurately.
