Animator to Create Short Explainers for Startup Onboarding

Startups move fast, and clear onboarding content can make a huge difference in how users understand the product. We’re looking for an animator who can create short, engaging explainer videos that simplify our onboarding process and bring clarity to new users.
These videos will be used across multiple touchpoints—from our website to in-app tutorials—helping users quickly grasp how to use the platform. Each animation should feel concise, friendly, and aligned with the brand’s personality.
The goal is not to overwhelm users with information but to guide them visually through key features and workflows. A few seconds of smooth, thoughtful animation can communicate what paragraphs of text cannot.
We want someone who understands how to blend storytelling and motion design to make technical concepts feel approachable. These explainers should feel human, polished, and purposeful.
Experience with startups or SaaS platforms would be a big advantage. The ideal candidate knows how to communicate complex features simply without losing depth.
Timing and pacing are critical. Every second should matter—transitions, voiceovers, and on-screen cues must work together seamlessly.
The animator should have a good eye for visual hierarchy and flow, ensuring each element contributes to understanding the message.
Color, typography, and movement will all play important roles in maintaining visual consistency with our overall product design...
