Expanding into German-speaking markets requires product pages that feel authentic, clear, and trustworthy. We’re searching for a translator who can go beyond direct translation and deliver localized content that connects with customers.
The work will focus on adapting product descriptions, titles, and supporting text for a German audience. Accuracy matters, but so does tone—the goal is to make every page feel as though it was originally written in German.
Responsibilities include:
Translating product descriptions, titles, and key details into German.
Localizing keywords for SEO to ensure visibility in German search engines.
Proofreading all translations for grammar, flow, and accuracy.
Adapting calls-to-action and marketing copy for cultural context.
Ensuring consistency across all product pages.
This role requires attention to detail, as even small errors in translation or keyword usage can affect both brand trust and search performance.
Collaboration with our content and SEO teams may be needed to align translations with broader marketing goals.
Skills we’re looking for:
Native or near-native German fluency with excellent English comprehension.
Experience in website translation and localization.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for multilingual sites.
