Description
Expanding a marketplace platform requires an engineer who can handle both front-end and back-end development with confidence. This role will focus on building new features that enhance the buying and selling experience while ensuring the platform remains stable and scalable.
On the front-end, React.js will be the primary framework, and we expect clean, responsive interfaces that provide users with a seamless experience. The engineer should be comfortable designing features that are intuitive and efficient, reducing friction in the user journey.
The back-end will rely on Node.js and PostgreSQL, with a need for well-structured APIs that can support complex marketplace functionality. REST API design must be clear, consistent, and secure, as these features will directly impact how buyers and sellers interact on the platform.
Stripe integration will be a key part of this work, requiring experience with secure payment flows, dispute handling, and subscription or transaction-based models. Ensuring accuracy and reliability in payment processing is essential to the success of the platform.
AWS will be the hosting environment, so the engineer should understand deployment, scaling, and monitoring within a cloud infrastructure. The goal is not just to launch new features but to ensure they run smoothly under real-world traffic conditions.
