Payment integration is a critical part of our platform, and we’re looking for a backend developer who can manage API connections securely and efficiently. The role requires hands-on experience with payment gateways and a deep understanding of how to handle sensitive transactions.
Node.js and Express will be the backbone of this project, so strong familiarity with both is essential. The developer should be confident in building robust REST APIs that can support smooth communication between our system and third-party services.
MySQL will be used for data management, and the database structure must support accurate tracking of payments, transactions, and user records without bottlenecks.
Authentication will be another major component. The integration must be secure, with strong practices in place for token management, session handling, and encryption.
Error handling will need careful planning. Payment systems cannot afford weak points, so failures must be caught and logged without disrupting the overall experience.
