Setting up a reliable Kubernetes cluster on AWS is the primary objective of this project, and we’re seeking an engineer who can manage the process from start to finish. The role requires strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation.
The engineer should be comfortable working with AWS services while leveraging Docker and Kubernetes to build a scalable environment. This isn’t a one-time setup—we want a structure that is secure, efficient, and ready for future growth.
Core responsibilities will include:
Designing and deploying a Kubernetes cluster on AWS.
Configuring CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Implementing best practices for container orchestration.
Managing infrastructure with Terraform to ensure reproducibility.
Security and monitoring will play a large part in the setup. Proper access control, logging, and alerting must be in place so the system can run reliably without constant manual oversight.
The role also involves optimizing the cluster for performance. Resources should be allocated in a way that balances cost-effectiveness with stability.
Required skills and experience:
Proven background in Kubernetes setup and management.
Hands-on knowledge of AWS services and Linux environments.
