UX Designer to Improve Checkout Flow for E-commerce

Description
A smooth checkout process can make the difference between a completed purchase and an abandoned cart, which is why we’re bringing on a UX designer to refine and optimize our e-commerce flow. The role will focus on identifying friction points, testing solutions, and delivering a more intuitive experience for customers.
Our platform already performs well, but we know improvements are possible. The goal is not just to make the checkout visually appealing but to ensure it’s faster, clearer, and easier for customers to complete their transactions without second-guessing.
The designer should have strong experience with Figma and Adobe XD, as these will be the primary tools used for creating wireframes and interactive prototypes. Clean layouts, logical user journeys, and thoughtful details will be expected throughout the process.
User testing will be a core part of this role. We want to see design decisions backed by actual customer feedback rather than assumptions, ensuring the final flow aligns with real user behavior.
Collaboration with our developers will be ongoing, and clear communication will be important to ensure designs are implemented accurately. The designer will need to document decisions, share prototypes, and remain engaged through revisions.
