Managing a distributed team comes with unique challenges, and we’re seeking a project manager who can bring structure, communication, and accountability to a fully remote software development environment.
The role isn’t only about tracking tasks—it’s about enabling the team to deliver high-quality results while keeping morale strong and workflows efficient.
We expect the manager to be comfortable with Agile and Scrum methodologies, tailoring them to fit the team’s dynamics instead of following a rigid textbook approach.
Communication will be central. The manager should know how to keep everyone informed without overwhelming developers with unnecessary meetings or redundant reporting.
Tools like Jira will be used daily, so hands-on experience setting up boards, backlogs, and sprints is a must. This will ensure clear visibility into progress and responsibilities.
Remote work often leads to silos, and part of this job will be breaking down those barriers. That means creating systems where collaboration is natural, not forced.
Responsibilities will include:
Running sprint planning sessions and daily stand-ups.
Monitoring project timelines and adjusting when necessary.
Coordinating across developers, designers, and stakeholders.
Creating reports that summarize progress for leadership.
Handling resource planning to balance workloads fairly.
