Financial Analyst for SaaS Forecast Model

A SaaS business lives or dies by its ability to forecast accurately, and we’re looking for a financial analyst who can help us build a solid forecasting model that reflects real-world performance.
The model should allow us to track growth month over month, while also projecting future revenue and expenses with enough flexibility to adjust assumptions as conditions change.
Excel will be the primary tool for this project, and the analyst should be able to design a clean, easy-to-use structure that our internal team can understand and update.
Experience in SaaS-specific financial modeling is highly preferred, as the dynamics of recurring revenue and churn are different from traditional businesses.
We’ll need clear visibility into metrics like ARR, MRR, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value, all presented in a structured way that informs decision-making.
Scenario analysis will be especially important, giving leadership the ability to compare outcomes based on different growth rates, churn levels, or pricing strategies.
The model should not be overly complex to the point of being unusable. It needs to strike the right balance between detail and practicality.
Attention to detail will be key, as even small errors in formulas can lead to misleading projections that affect strategic choices.
