Expanding our reach into the German market requires a careful localization of our marketing website, and we’re looking for someone who can handle that with precision. This isn’t just a word-for-word translation project — the goal is to capture tone, nuance, and intent.
The translator must understand both the technical side of marketing copy and the cultural differences that make content resonate with local audiences. Our website needs to feel as though it was originally written in German, not translated after the fact.
Accuracy is critical, but creativity is equally important. Phrases, slogans, and calls to action should maintain their impact while staying true to the original brand identity.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Translating web pages, landing pages, and blog content into German.
Adapting existing copy so it connects with local readers in a natural way.
Proofreading and editing the translated text for flow and accuracy.
Ensuring that SEO practices are incorporated into the German version of the site.
Collaborating with the team to refine messaging for cultural relevance.
Our preference is for someone who has experience working with marketing or SaaS-related content, since much of the website will focus on products and customer solutions.
