DevOps Engineer for AWS Infrastructure Setup

This role focuses on setting up a secure and scalable AWS infrastructure that supports both current operations and future growth. The engineer will be expected to design and configure cloud resources with best practices in mind.

Docker and Kubernetes will be central to containerization and orchestration. The candidate should know how to deploy and manage services that can scale automatically and recover quickly in case of failures.

CI/CD pipelines will need to be built or optimized to ensure smooth deployments. Automated testing, staging, and production workflows are part of the expected deliverables.

Terraform will be the primary tool for infrastructure as code. Everything from VPCs to IAM policies should be codified for repeatability and easier maintenance.

Monitoring systems are equally important. The engineer must implement dashboards and alerts that provide real-time visibility into system health, performance, and security.

Security considerations cannot be ignored. Configurations must follow compliance standards, enforcing encryption, least-privilege access, and strong network boundaries.

Collaboration with the development team will be required to align infrastructure setup with application needs. Clear documentation should accompany all deliverables.
