The editor must be confident working with Premiere Pro and After Effects. These tools will form the backbone of the editing process, from cutting raw clips to adding effects and transitions that keep viewers engaged.
Strong motion graphics skills are important. Tutorial content often benefits from animated titles, lower thirds, or illustrative graphics that highlight key steps.
Subtitles will also be a major focus. Accessibility is key for reaching a wide audience, and accurate captions help keep viewers engaged even without audio.
Audio editing cannot be overlooked. Background noise must be reduced, levels need balancing, and clarity has to be maintained so the voiceover feels polished and professional.
Storyboarding experience is a plus. While raw footage will be provided, having someone who can organize clips into a coherent narrative makes the workflow smoother and ensures nothing is missed.
