Supporting research projects requires a detail-oriented assistant who can manage both repetitive tasks and time-sensitive requests. Accuracy and consistency will be critical.
A major part of the role will involve gathering information from credible sources, organizing it in structured formats, and presenting it in a way that’s easy to understand.
Data entry will be ongoing. The assistant will be expected to handle spreadsheets, update databases, and check for errors.
Some projects may require the collection of information from multiple sources, both online and offline, which will need to be verified before submission.
Email handling will also be part of the day-to-day responsibilities. The assistant will sort, prioritize, and sometimes draft responses for internal review.
Calendar management may be included. Coordinating research-related meetings, sending reminders, and preparing agendas will support smooth collaboration.
Short tasks will often involve verifying details such as contact information, reference materials, or links in documents.
For larger projects, the assistant will help compile research into summaries that highlight key findings.
