Nonprofit websites often carry an important mission, so the design has to balance clarity with empathy. This project is focused on redesigning the user interface to better communicate the organization’s purpose and improve usability.
The designer will work primarily in Figma or Adobe XD, producing mockups and interactive prototypes that showcase a modern, accessible look.
Wireframing will be required in the early stages. The goal is to map out layouts that prioritize key information, such as donation options, volunteer opportunities, and impact stories.
Accessibility is a major priority. The new design must meet WCAG standards so that users with different abilities can navigate without difficulty.
UX writing should complement the visuals. Microcopy for buttons, tooltips, and forms should be friendly, concise, and supportive of the nonprofit’s values.
Some pages will need complete redesigns, while others may just require layout improvements or cleaner UI components.
Consistency across all sections is important. Fonts, colors, and visual hierarchy should match the brand while creating a sense of trust.
