Cloud Engineer to Configure Kubernetes on AWS Cluster
Skills Required
Description
Configuring Kubernetes on an AWS cluster requires someone with solid hands-on experience in both infrastructure and container orchestration. The engineer will be responsible for setting up Kubernetes from scratch, ensuring that the cluster is optimized for scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency. This includes configuring networking, storage, and monitoring tools, while also managing access control and security policies to protect workloads. Integration with Docker containers and automation through CI/CD pipelines will be part of the role, making deployments smoother and reducing manual intervention. The work must be documented clearly so future engineers can extend and maintain the setup without difficulty.
Short tasks like fine-tuning autoscaling policies and implementing health checks will also fall under the scope.
The end goal is a stable Kubernetes environment on AWS that can handle production workloads reliably and grow as business needs expand.
