Shopify Expert to Optimize Checkout Experience

Description
Improving the checkout experience is one of our top priorities this quarter. We're searching for a skilled Shopify expert who can evaluate, redesign, and streamline the final steps of our customer journey.
User drop-off during checkout has been higher than expected, and we need someone who can pinpoint friction points and implement solutions backed by both UX principles and data insights.
You won’t be working in isolation. Our content, design, and analytics teams are fully onboard and eager to collaborate. We’re looking for someone proactive, curious, and data-driven.
Ideally, you’ve worked with Shopify Plus or Shopify custom scripts and have experience dealing with multilingual storefronts. Being comfortable with both technical tasks and design-focused decisions is a major plus.
Fluency in both English and German will be important, as we want to localize our checkout content to improve trust and reduce confusion for our DACH region customers.
We expect you to help us run A/B tests, create and analyze heatmaps, and provide reporting on the performance of different checkout flow iterations.
You’ll also support optimization from a performance standpoint—loading speed, responsive layout, and mobile experience are equally important to us.
