Description
Firebase authentication setup is needed for a mobile application currently in development.
The app has basic UI screens already designed; now it needs secure and seamless user sign-in.
Previous experience with Firebase Auth, especially in mobile apps, is a must.
It should include email/password login and ideally social sign-ins like Google and Apple.
Integration with existing screens should be smooth and follow modern mobile UX best practices.
Security is a top priority — session handling and token refresh should be implemented properly.
This is a short-term task but might lead to more backend work if done well.
Credentials handling and logout flow should also be part of the setup.
The mobile app is built using React Native, so knowledge of that is helpful.
Firebase project is already created; you’ll get access once the contract starts.
It would be great if you’ve worked with Firebase in both Android and iOS environments.
Minimalistic UI and fast load times are part of the broader design goal.
You'll collaborate with a small, remote team — just a few developers and one designer.
Code should be well-structured and easy to understand for future updates.
No need to worry about UI styling — the main focus is authentication logic.
