Migrate WordPress Site to Static HTML
Skills Required
Description
This project is about simplifying. We’re planning to move an existing WordPress website over to a static HTML version for performance, security, and long-term maintenance reasons.
The current site has around 12 pages, most of which are content-heavy with minimal dynamic interaction. However, there are a few contact forms and integrations (Stripe, CRM tools) that will need to remain functional through third-party APIs or lightweight JavaScript solutions.
We’re not looking to just export HTML — we want the site restructured with clean, well-organized code, using modern standards (responsive layout, lightweight assets, semantic HTML). Speed, SEO-friendliness, and mobile responsiveness are critical.
You should know how to preserve:
Metadata and structured schema
Third-party integrations via APIs
Contact forms and payment flows
Bonus if you’ve done this kind of migration before and understand how to troubleshoot caching/CDN behavior post-launch.
Let’s talk if you’re confident in clean HTML/CSS output and can handle light API interaction where needed.
