Redesign Blog Layout on Ghost CMS
Skills Required
Description
Looking to revamp the layout of my blog hosted on Ghost CMS.
Right now, the design feels a bit outdated, and I want something more modern and easier to navigate on all devices.
The goal is to give it a cleaner look, improve readability, and ensure it's fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
I'd like the homepage to highlight featured posts more effectively and include better visual hierarchy for post titles, dates, and categories.
Also considering adding a sticky navigation bar and improving how tags and series are displayed.
I'm not looking for a full brand overhaul—just a refreshed, polished blog layout.
Here are a few things I’m hoping to improve:
✅ Post grid layout with more breathing space
✅ Smoother mobile scroll behavior
✅ Consistent font and color scheme for titles and body text
✅ Improved image presentation for cover photos and inline content
If you’ve customized Ghost themes before, especially with Handlebars, that’s a big plus.
Bonus if you’ve worked on blogs that attract tech-savvy or design-conscious readers.
I'll provide example references and explain what I like/dislike about the current setup.
Please be comfortable tweaking the theme files directly and testing changes live or in a staging environment.
Timeline is flexible, but I’d prefer regular check-ins so we can iterate together as needed.
