Exploring a New Blog Layout with Ghost CMS

Thinking about giving my blog a fresh new look using Ghost CMS. I’ve been exploring different layouts and themes, but I want something that feels more polished, modern, and tailored to my content style.
The current layout feels outdated and a bit rigid. I’d like to restructure the way posts are displayed—maybe bring in a featured post section, add better category filters, and improve mobile responsiveness across the board.
Ghost is already installed and working fine on my server, so no need to handle deployment. The main focus here is on visual improvements and front-end layout customization within Ghost's theme framework.
I’m interested in implementing a more minimal, content-first aesthetic. Think large headings, plenty of white space, clean fonts, and smart use of images and thumbnails. Reader experience is top priority.
If possible, I’d love help creating a few custom theme tweaks:
• A new homepage layout with flexible post grids
• Sticky header with category navigation
• Clean author bios on post pages
• Call-to-action section for newsletter signup
• Optimized loading for speed and SEO
This isn't a huge site, so the changes shouldn't take long for someone who knows Ghost theming well. I’m comfortable editing small things myself—just need help with the heavier lifting.
