Having Trouble Styling My React Components – Need Tips
Skills Required
Description
Styling in React has been giving me a hard time lately, and I could use a fresh perspective. I’m building a moderately complex frontend and trying to maintain consistency across components—but it’s starting to get messy.
I’ve been using CSS-in-JS libraries like styled-components, and while I like the modularity, I feel like my codebase is starting to sprawl. I want to keep styles maintainable without compromising flexibility or performance.
Right now, I'm struggling most with nested components and dynamic theming. I’d love to talk to someone who’s found a good structure or strategy that scales well, especially if you’ve worked on large single-page applications.
If you’ve got experience with CSS modules or any pattern that keeps things clean and dry, I’m all ears. Performance tips are a plus—especially how to avoid unnecessary re-renders or bloated style injections.
Ideally, we could work through a few specific examples in my code so I can apply best practices directly. This is more about mentorship and refinement rather than building from scratch.
Let me know if this sounds like a fit. I’m flexible on hours and ready to get started ASAP.
