Description

Lately, I’ve been reworking my resume and have hit a wall with the header section. It feels cluttered and a bit outdated, and I’m worried it’s not giving off the best first impression.

I’m looking for someone who understands the balance of design, formatting, and professionalism. This isn’t just about aesthetics — the header needs to clearly highlight the essentials (name, contact, title) but with a clean, standout look.

If you’ve got experience with resumes, especially in high-visibility roles or executive-level presentation, I’d love to hear your suggestions. I want it to look polished without being overly flashy.

I use my resume for both job applications and portfolio submissions, so the design needs to look great in both PDF and printed form. Please make sure it’s readable and looks crisp on screen and paper.

Typography and spacing matter a lot to me. I want a layout that’s visually balanced — not something copied from a generic template. It should feel personal yet professional.

Here’s a bonus if you’ve helped clients land roles in tech, creative, or leadership positions — but even if not, feel free to pitch your ideas.

I’ll provide my current resume in editable format (likely Word or Google Docs), along with a few samples of headers I like. But I’m also open to creative input if you think there’s a better direction to go.

Clean design, subtle color use (or grayscale), and clear sectioning are key. Nothing to...
