My Web App's Search Feature Is Broken — Need It Fixed Fast

The search bar in my web app has stopped working properly, and I need someone experienced to help troubleshoot and fix it quickly. It was previously functional but now returns incomplete or no results for valid queries.

This app is built with React on the frontend and MongoDB on the backend. I suspect the issue may be with how the backend is handling the query logic or perhaps something to do with the indexing in MongoDB.

I’m not a developer myself, so I’ll need someone who can confidently jump in, run diagnostics, and explain the issue in simple terms before implementing the fix.

I’d really appreciate someone who doesn’t just patch the problem but checks that the fix is stable and won't break again with future updates.

Speed is important to me. This bug is affecting usability and is frustrating users. I’d like to get it resolved within the next day or two if possible.

If you’ve worked on similar React + MongoDB setups with live search or filter functions, this should be a pretty straightforward task for you.
