Stuck Setting Up Google Tag Manager Events — Need Quick Fix
Skills Required
Description
I’m trying to set up a few Google Tag Manager events to track specific actions on my website, but I keep running into issues. Some events aren't firing at all, while others are double-counting. I’ve been through the GTM and GA4 interfaces, tried a few YouTube tutorials, but I’m still stuck. I’m not an expert with JavaScript or debug tools, so I figured it's time to bring someone in who knows what they’re doing.
This is a relatively small task, but it’s important — especially as I’m setting up analytics for an upcoming product launch. You might also need to double-check how tags and triggers are structured — I may have set some things up incorrectly.
If you’ve done GTM setup/debugging before, this should be pretty straightforward. Ideally, I’d like to do a screen share so I can follow along and understand what’s going wrong — I’d rather learn than just hand it off completely.
Here’s a quick idea of what I need:
✅ Fix or replace existing broken GTM tags
✅ Set up custom events for form submissions and button clicks
✅ Ensure all events are syncing c...
