Data Analyst to Build Reports in Power BI

I need someone who truly knows their way around Power BI — not just for pulling data into visuals, but for understanding what decision-makers actually want to see.
We have a range of data coming in from sales, marketing, and customer support. I’m looking for a skilled analyst who can turn that into clean, insightful dashboards that executives can rely on.
The initial task will be building a set of standardized reports. These should include filters, drilldowns, and clean layouts with clearly labeled metrics. No clutter — just clarity.
You’ll also be working with SQL to extract the right data, so strong skills in writing queries and understanding database structure are essential.
I’ll provide the general KPIs we’re looking to track, but you should feel comfortable asking the right questions to clarify the “why” behind each one. This isn’t a checkbox job — I value input.
If you’ve worked with DAX formulas before and know how to optimize performance in large datasets, that’s a big plus.
Most of our current data is stored in cloud platforms, but it may also involve Excel imports or API-connected data sources. Flexibility is key.
The reports will be used regularly by our senior team, so they need to be reliable and consistent. We’re also looking for someone who can set up automated refreshes where possible.
