Copywriter Needed to Refresh Website Content
Skills Required
Description
A service-based tech company is undergoing a light website redesign and needs an entry-level copywriter to revise and refresh existing web content. The primary goal is to make the language more modern, human, and aligned with our brand personality — without losing clarity or professionalism.
The site currently has around 12 pages, including homepage, product overviews, feature details, FAQs, and a contact section. Most of the content is in place but feels a bit dry and outdated. We’re not looking for a total rewrite — we need thoughtful, brand-aware improvements that speak clearly to our audience.
You’ll work closely with our design and marketing teams, who will guide you on tone, audience, and message priorities. We’ll provide notes, inspiration samples, and access to analytics that show which sections are underperforming. From there, you’ll help us tighten the messaging, add clarity, and improve structure.
Tone of voice should be confident, helpful, and friendly — not overly corporate or techy. The product itself is a B2B SaaS tool, but it’s important that the language feels approachable and avoids jargon whenever possible. If you can make complex ideas sound simple, that’s exactly what we need.
You should also be mindful of SEO best practices while writing. We’re not looking to keyword-stuff, but the right phrases in the right places (H1s, meta, body) will help performance. We’ll share our primary and secondary keyword list for each page...
